About The Club
More Than Football.
Established in 1984, Polegate Grasshoppers FC is a welcoming, community-focused grassroots youth football club based at Westlords Playing Fields, Willingdon Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex.
For over 40 years, we’ve been providing children and young people from Polegate, Eastbourne, Willingdon and the surrounding areas with opportunities to play football, develop their skills, build confidence and make lifelong friendships.
We believe football is about much more than winning matches. It’s about having fun, working together, showing respect and ensuring every child feels valued and included, regardless of their ability or experience.
Our dedicated volunteer coaches provide a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment for boys and girls to discover their love of football. We’re also committed to expanding opportunities for inclusive and disability football, helping make the beautiful game accessible to everyone.
Whether your child is kicking a ball for the very first time or looking to take the next step in their football journey, there’s a place for them at Polegate Grasshoppers FC.
Football. Friendship. Community. Since 1984.
